This is a simple way of passively improving the speed by which the player's Motherbase is upgraded, giving players access to stronger in-game resources earlier. 
The S++ Soldier Mod allows players to recruit soldiers to Motherbase whose skill ranking goes above the standard S-rank in the game's campaign, all the way up to S++.
